Difficulties

Hey readers!

Sorry, but I am having a few difficulties in finding the documents that contain my stories.  But you will get to read them, never fear; it is just that it might take a while.  I don't know how long but it will be more than a week or so.

  Thank you for your patience,

            Kyra

Some random things...

Oh dear.  The holidays are almost up! I can't bear it! Anyway, at least I have had a good holiday and a fun Christmas, then I'm happy.

Can I just say to you guys, if you have a blog, please post things!  I really wanna see stuff! I have written a story called "6 Impossible Things Before Breakfast".  It's a little strange and almost sci-fi-ish, but I'm not a professional author. I also plan to write more stories in the future and keep you updated on my dancing life.

 Til next time!

What Do You Have in Common?

Hey readers!

I'm just gonna do polls for "What Do You Have in Common?" and then reveal to you what my favorite thing is on a post so I don't announce who won (it is a little awkward :S). So vote! I'll be doing it every two weeks so you can get a chance to vote ;)

 Til later!

New Year's Eve

Hello everyone!

First of all, a happy new year to all of you!  I hope your year will be as successful and joyous as it could possibly be.

We had the most amazing time at my Aunty Rachelle's and Uncle Andrew's (with their two kids) house for New Year's Eve!  Not only did we have a fab New Year's Eve party, but we also combined it with a surprise 70th birthday party for my wonderful Opa!  It was so nice to see the surprise and joy on his face as soon as he walked in the door.  My other aunt, Nicole (Jeremy Olivier's wife), was also there with her five kids. We set up a couple of tents and had a delicious braai (for you who don't live in SA, a braai is a BBQ).

Here are a few photos that I took while we were there...

Status: At work

I am at my dad's golf shop right now on my dad's till computer thingy and blogging while the busy time of the shop has passed for the next half and hour or so.  It is so fun here! I love working for my dad. I make crunchies (see recipe on My Recipe Book at http://kyrasrecipebook.blogspot.com/ ) on Friday nights and dad sells them here on Saturday and Sunday mornings.  I make quite a bit, but only on busy days.  The only down thing is that the sink so small you can't run the water to fast otherwise the tiny sink OVERFLOWS!  People are so friendly here, unlike my dad's last job from where he resigned.  Oh and by-the-way, if your dad likes golf, tell him to come to Somerset West Country Club to play or maybe have lesson with my dad (he's a PGA professional and I think best teacher ever.)

  Till my next post...

Toodles! (as Paula might say on 7de laan ... hahaha!)
